Why you should choose dental implants?

Dental implants – Introduction

Dental implants are used to replace lost natural teeth, restoring function and aesthetics. Generally implants take from 3 to 9 months to complete, this will be discussed at your implant consultation. In many cases the consulting dentist may require a CT scan to ensure that there is enough bone available to place the implant.

Implant treatment normally involves several stages that take place over a period of time.

  • Maintenance:
Regular professional care of implants is essential in maintaining the health of the implant. Meticulous daily homecare will extend the life of your implants, your dental professional will help you achieve this care.

Covid-19 Update

Due to recent government announcement we would like to reassure patients that we will remain open as advised by the chief dental officer for England.

One of the key points raised was that it is safe to travel for medical & dental appointments.

Safety remains our top priority and we will continue to follow the procedures that have been introduced. As an additional safety measure all staff members will be subject to Covid-19 testing twice weekly.

If you have a pre booked appointment in place please attend as previously planned following our strict closed door policy and advising us when you have arrived. The full patient journey is available on our website: www.mainstreetdental.co.uk or to discuss in further detail you can call the practice.

Please note: Some services are restricted and if we need to cancel your appointment for the time being we will contact you in due course.

For any enquiries or to book an appointment please call the practice on 01928733974 or email us at: reception@mainstreetdental.co.uk

Thank you for your your co-operation.
